DONDO | PASTEURIZED BUTTER

Dondo butter is manufactured by pasteurizing and churning cream. Butter is packed under hygienic and sanitary conditions. It will keep fresh if the cold chain is not broken and it is stored at its ideal temperature.

Though we do not know for sure when, where and by whom butter was first made, there are records stating that it appeared circa 2000 years B.C. in western Asia, that it served as an offering in temples in that era, and was used as medicine and ointment. It is noted that industrially, it was first manufactured circa 1880-1890 in the United States.

With its high calorie-content, butter is a nourishing foodstuff. Besides being one of the most important breakfast ingredients, due to the essential fatty acids it contains, its consumption is vital for the proper development of the brain in children. Furthermore, as a source of energy for children and adolescents it is more beneficial than bread and sugar. Due to its richness in vitamins A, B1, and D, it holds a special place among fats and nutriments.
